Obituary

Roseann Darga, 72, of Marinette, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. She was born March 15, 1945 in Marinette, the daughter of Ben and Rita (Chevalier) Sadowski.
Roseann resided in the Marinette area all of her life and attended local schools. She was widowed at age 24 when her first husband, Ralph Adams, passed away. She later married Ray Darga in October of 1969. A devoted wife and mother, Roseann was a stay at home mom when her children were young. She was a talented cook and later was employed by the Tenderloin Inn, Weirich’s, Memories, Schloegel’s in both cities and by Angeli’s Bakery.
Roseann pursued many interests including bowling, crafts, flower arranging, gardening and enjoyed reading and word searches. She and Ray enjoyed square dancing and were members of the Twin City Square Dance Club since1986.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Parish in Peshtigo.
Surviving are her husband, Ray; her mother, Rita Sadowski of Peshtigo; four children, Mark (Brenda) Adams and Steve (Tammy) Adams both of Marinette; Denise (Dean) Rinke of Saukville, Wis. and Pamela (Kevin) Bowers of Menominee; nine grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsey, Kendra, Brittany, Spencer, Zachary, Jason, Austin and Simon; two great-grandchildren, Mia and Kinnley; her brothers and sisters, James (Joan) Sadowski of Billings, Mont., Barbara (Don) Wauters of Florida, Linda (Michael) Prince of Peshtigo, David (Wileen) Sadowski of Marinette, Jeanne (John) Burt of Loretta, Wis. and Tom (Eileen) Sadowski of Porterfield; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ben; and her first husband, Ralph Adams.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home on Friday, January 26, 2018, from 4 until 6 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday. Visitation will continue at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Peshtigo after 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 27th. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. with Father Jess Berdol as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Porterfield in the spring.
Roseann’s family extends special thanks to caregivers Bobbi and Diane, to Unity Hospice and all of her caregivers for their kindness.
