Obituary

Patricia Anna (Paris) Lohff, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 23, 2020 at Luther Home in Marinette WI. She was born on May 12, 1928, to Jesse and Anna (Moberg) Paris in Menominee, MI.
Pat was a 1946 graduate of Menominee High School. On February 11, 1961, she married Glenn Lohff at the First Presbyterian Church in Menominee, MI. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1981. She also is preceded in death by her parents, brothers John Larson (Mae), Carlton Larson, Jesse Paris (Bev), and Donald Paris (Dorothy), sisters Dorothy Ertel (Conrad), Mildred Wizner (Ed), and Nancy Nason (John), and brother-in-law John Lohff and sister-in-law Marion Krueger.
Pat is survived by her four sons Mike (Julie) of St Louis, MO, Peter of Marinette, WI, Cort (John) of Las Vegas, NV, Tom (Celeste) of De Pere, WI, and three grand dogs. Maddie, Mollie, and Norman. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Alice Lohff of Colorado Springs; and many nieces and nephews.
In her younger years, Pat worked as a nanny and at the glove factory, eventually leaving the workforce job to start a family. After raising her children, Pat worked at Schloegel’s Bayview Restaurant and at J.C. Penney where she worked as a sales associate in the men’s department for over 25 years. Pat had many friends at J.C. Penney, and cherished all of them. Pat was also a devoted election poll worker for many years.
Pat’s biggest accomplishment was raising her four boys and spoke proudly of them often.
Pat enjoyed bowling, bingo, casino trips, and traveling with friends, especially to St. Ignace for the Mackinac Bridge Walk. She was a frequent visitor to the YMCA, where she enjoyed water aerobics, hot tubs, and daily coffee clatch with other members. She also enjoyed her weekly Friday afternoon card games with high school friends.
Pat was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon. She spent many years caring for children in the nursery, and volunteering.
Visitation will be held at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Thursday, August 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Forest Home Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Luther Home for the compassionate care they provided to Pat these past few years.
