John Jerome Perket, 91, of Marinette, WI died Thursday January 18, 2018.

John was born to Edna (Lindberg) and Arthur Perket on February 16, 1926 in Spalding, Michigan. He was a 1944 graduate of Peshtigo High School. John enlisted in the Navy, and served in the Pacific in WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946. He eloped and married his high school sweetheart, Elinor A. Locke, on August 16, 1947 in Stephenson, Michigan. John and Elinor recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

John worked at Ansul for 45 years as an Operations Supervisor in various departments and retired in 1992.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Elinor, his brother Arthur Perket (Junior) of Peshtigo, WI, his sister Jeanette Fraser of Green Bay, WI, and his daughter Sharrie Perket of Marinette.

He is survived by four loving sons: Cary (Nadwa) of LaJolla, CA, Jon (Gena DeGayner) of Marinette, WI, Richard (Robin) of Maplewood, MN, and Michael (Tricia) of Eden Prairie, MN, as well as nine grandchildren: Jon M (Jennifer), Ryan, Jasmine, Ellie, Cary Laith, Danya, Micah, Remi, Luke, and three great grandchildren: Parker, Piper, and Peri.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

A memorial service will be conducted at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1501 Thomas St., Marinette, WI on Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements are being made by Hansen-Onion-Martell of Marinette, Wisconsin.

He will be buried at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo, WI
