John J. (Jack) Over, Jr., of Marinette, WI., passed away peacefully on April 7, 2020, with his daughter by his side at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay. Jack was born on July 2, 1929 in Lakewood, OH to John. J. Over, Sr., and Emily (Grill) Over.

Jack graduated from Columbia University in 1951 with a degree in electrical engineering and was initially employed by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, D.C. Jack’s beloved wife of nearly 65 years passed away April 25, 2019, and he will be interred next to her in Edmond, OK. Surviving are their three children, Jana Over (David Harrington) of Rockville, MD., John J. (Sandy) Over, III of Edmond, OK., and Andrea (Brian) Maxwell of Marinette; six grandchildren: Chris, Laura, Hayley, Rosemary, Jeff and Joe, and one great-grandson, John IV.
