Floyd C. Beyer, 87, of Marinette, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was born to Martha (Jasch) and Fred Beyer of Menominee on January 26, 1930.
Floyd was a 1948 graduate of Menominee High School. He married Lois M. Nelson on November 24, 1951. They were married 68 years. Floyd served in the United States Army for two years, stationed in Germany for 1 ½ years.
Floyd first worked at Signal Electric and then the City of Marinette for 25 years and part-time doing deliveries for Sears and the Globe.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; a son, Dale of Madison; and a daughter, Linda (Glenn) Van Cleve of Menominee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph; and his wife’s parents, Henry and Alma Nelson.
A private service will be held at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home.
