Eleanor Raygo, 93, passed away peacefully June 17, 2020.

Eleanor was born June 5, 1927, in Marinette, to Edward and Augusta Lietzow.
She attended Marinette High School and was part of the graduating class of 1945. Eleanor worked as a telephone operator before marrying her high school sweetheart, Alvin Raygo in 1947. Alvin preceded her in death in 1994, and she cherished all the memories of the time they had together.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Steve (Marilyn) Raygo, Bonnie (Dave) Erickson, Debra (Michael) Harding; and 6 grandchildren, Jennifer (Keith) Shimon, Kristin (Jeremy) Simonson, Lanae (Ron) Domenosky, Scott Erickson, Jill Harding, Jared (Chelsea) Harding; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Eleanor had the opportunity to travel extensively with her husband, making friends wherever they went. Her interests included enjoying nature, dancing, reading, and playing cards, especially winning at poker. Most importantly, she loved the time she spent with family, friends, and her cat, Daisy. Anyone in her family would say she was the “glue” that kept them all together.

Eleanor was an active member of First Trinity Lutheran Church. There will be a private service to honor her life, and she will be laid to rest at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Marinette.
