Dale R. Goldschmidt, 77, of Wagner, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020, at his home. He was born October 4, 1942 in Marinette to Albert and Muriel (Zander) Goldschmidt, residing in this area most of his life. He graduated from Wausaukee High School with the Class of 1961. Dale served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Panama.
On September 7, 1968, Dale married the former Linda Limberg. He worked at Scott Paper Co., later Kimberly Clark, until retiring in 2003. Dale enjoyed the outdoors and loved deer and duck hunting with family as well as fishing and gardening. He especially loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a member of Community Lutheran Church in McAllister.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; two sons, Jason (Sam) Goldschmidt and John Goldschmidt; a daughter, Jessica (Travis) Watson; two grandchildren, Brandyn and Kali; a brother, Jim Goldschmidt; and a sister, Marlys (Ken) Limberg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gary; a sister, Sharon; and a brother-in-law, John Messenger.
Due to public health requirements, a private family service and burial will be held at Community Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Hueter officiating.
