Clarence Bach, 95, formerly of Wallace, Michigan, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at the Luther Home in Marinette. He was born April 17, 1925 in the Town of Wagner, Wisconsin, to Victor and Hedwig (Wickman) Bach. Although from a rural family, Clarence attended Marinette High School and graduated with the Class of 1943. During World War II he served with the United States Army in Italy and was awarded a Bronze Battle Star. He married the former Elizabeth (Betty) Christenson on June 5, 1949. They resided in this area until her death on January 26, 2009.

For many years Clarence was employed by The Ansul Company and also farmed in Porterfield and Wallace.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Robert Bach, Charles Bach, John Bach and Doris (Bach) Salzman. He is survived by his four children, Gail (Dale) Gusick, Nancy Bach (Michael O’Connell), James Bach, Victor (Karen) Bach; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christopher, Patrick O’Connell and Madison Bach; three great-grandchildren, and his sister Jane (Bach) Zuern.

A private family graveside service will be held Friday afternoon at Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette. Chaplain Karen Anne Hanson will officiate.
