Clarence A. “Bud” Herbst, 85, of Porterfield, passed away Sunday evening, December 3, 2017. He was born April 3, 1932 in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Paul and Anna Herbst.
He resided in Milwaukee for many years where he was employed by Miller Brewing Co. He was a veteran of military service during the Korean War. Bud spent 50 years of loving marriage and happiness with his wife, Edna. After retirement, they moved to Porterfield.
Surviving are his wife, Edna; children, Edward Schraudenbach of Porterfield, Steven Butler of Marinette, Brian Butler (Janet) of Richland Center, Wis., Jean (Robert) Falk of Mukwonago, Wis., Jayna (Stanley) Schraudenbach of Menominee, Mich., Beth Higby of Richland Center, Wis. and Paul and Michael Herbst of Milwaukee; one brother, Jerome (Kathy) Herbst of Big Bend, Wis.; and three sisters, Joan (Monty) Dean and Margie Janowski, both of West Allis, Wis. and June (Les) Hoffkins of Eagle, Wis. He was also grandpa, great-grandpa and great-great-grandpa to many and is further survived by special friends, Jim and Tena Roubal, William Cech and many other friends and relatives.
Bud was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth, Richard and Bernard; and a sister, Mary Smith.
In keeping with his wishes, a memorial will be announced later.
