Obituary

Alice M. Zillmer, 89, of Menominee, completed the final chapter of her life on Sunday, the 2nd of October, 2016. She was born on Park Avenue in Janesville, Wisconsin to Paul and Geneva (Hesgard) Paulson on May 14, 1927.
Before her marriage, she managed the 20th Century Fox Theatres in Janesville. On September 7, 1948, a colorful and warm fall day, she married her one and only husband, Kenneth. They moved to Milwaukee where she was employed at Westinghouse Electric as a Cost-Accountant and later as a bookkeeper at Holt Electric and Sampson Enterprises.
Alice was a much published free lance writer. She enjoyed bowhunting and was a Wisconsin Bare Bow Archery Champion, a lifetime member of West Allis Bowmen and proud recipient of the Silver Arrow Award for promoting the sport of archery. She and her husband retired to the Crivitz area and later moved to Menominee.
Her beloved husband and parents preceded her in death along with her only sister, Ruth Ryan. She was the aunt of seven exceptionally talented Ryans; four nieces, Virginia, Mary, Helen and Rebecca; and two nephews, Richard and Peter; and the lifelong friend and confidant of Bonnie Ayers of Racine.
No services will be held.
Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home is assisting the family.
