Obituary

Richard A. “Dickie-Do” Derouin, 68, of Marinette, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was born December 12, 1948 in Menominee to William “Bill” and Doris Derouin.
Dick spent his early years in Menominee, graduating from Menominee High School with the Class of 1967. He entered the United States Army after high school and was a veteran of action in the Vietnam War. Returning to Menominee from service, he worked for the L.E. Jones Co. as a machinist. He later was employed for 26 years by Winsert in Marinette.
He married his wife, the former Barbara Penney, on June 7, 2003, making their home in Marinette.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Shaun Derouin and his wife, Tammy Derouin, Shelly Derouin, Kelly Derouin, Robert Borowczyk and Danny Borowczyk; grandchildren, Ryan Derouin and his wife, Jessica, Courtney, Alyssa and Dannica Derouin, Colin and Keely Derouin, Cameron Nelson and his significant other, Karianna Solomon, Alidora, Lore, Kara and Sirene Borowczyk; great-grandchildren, Riley and Rhett Derouin, Eli Nelson and Maximus Mays; and one sister, Ramona Hansen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lorraine Lueskow; and four brothers, Donald, David, Billy and Kenneth Derouin.

Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette on Friday, August 11, 2017, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. when services will be held. Pastor James T. Penney, a brother-in-law, will officiate.
