Geoffrey Allen Brown, of Marinette, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016, following a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 22, 1956 to William and Phyllis Brown of Marinette, Wis.
He attended Marinette public schools and graduated from Marinette High School with the Class of 1975. In his early career he worked as a chef at the Dome. In 1977 he began years of employment at Marinette Marine, working in various positions. His favorite was being a crane operator.
In 2006 he met Rouelyn Pasinabo "Wowie" in Siquijor, Philippines and they were married in 2007. In 2008, their son, Liam Roberto Brown, was born. Wowie and Liam have been the loves of his life! Geoff enjoys spending time with his family cooking, graphic arts, being together and exploring new areas. He has always worked with wood and all of his family have enjoyed wooden pieces he has made. In earlier years he enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, camping, snowmobiling, boating, water skiing and riding his motorcycle. He has always loved spending time with family and friends and their children. He was known for story telling and loved to laugh! Since 1992, when his nephew, Joe Kluetz was born, he has shared many happy moments, leaving us all with wonderful memories.
Geoff is survived by his wife, Rouelyn "Wowie"; their son, Liam; his sister, RuthAnn, her husband, David Kluetz and their son, Joe; his sister, Kate and her husband, William Plemel. He is also survived by his extended family in the Philippines and here in the United States; and many friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; relatives in the Philippines; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
