The family moved to Marinette in 1920, becoming members of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Margaret attended the Christian Day School and later the Junior and Senior High Schools, Marinette, graduating in 1934.
That same year, she was employed as a stenographer by Badger Paper Mills, Peshtigo. She was appointed supervisor of the stenographic department in 1942, and elected assistant secretary of the company in 1974. She held that position until her retirement in 1979, after 45 years of service.
Margaret has been an active member of Trinity. She was a Sunday School teacher for over 50 years, serving as superintendent for a number of years. She is also a former member of Trinity’s Senior Choir.
One of Margaret’s interests has been travel. She and her sister Mabel have been to Europe three times, and visited much of the United States, Canada and Alaska.
Margaret is survived by her dear sister, Mabel; a sister-in-law, Connie Heller, of Franklin, Wis.; a niece, Jeanine Heller, of Cedarburg, Wis.; a nephew, David Heller, his wife Victoria, grandnephew, Luke and grandniece, Avery, of Tallahassee, Fla.; and cousins and many dear friends. Her parents and her brother, Clarence, preceded her in death.
