Clarence S. Mogenson December 11, 1917 January 6, 2010

Clarence S. Mogensen, 92, of Marinette, died Saturday, January 16, 2010, at his home. He was born in Wyocena, Wisconsin on December 11, 1917, the son of the late John and Lessie Mogensen. He was employed at Scott Paper Mill for 38 years, retiring in 1986. His wife of 71 years, Martha, survives him, along with two sons, Eric (Joy) Mogensen and Peter (Angel) Mogensen; two daughters, Kristin (Jim) Zellner and Karla (Buzz) Davis; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin brother, one sister, one brother-in-law, a niece and his step-mother. Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home, Marinette, after 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Chaplain Darrel Diers officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial contributions are suggested for St. James Lutheran Church.
